MCP connector
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Overview
The Rapidfolio connector lets an AI assistant work in your Rapidfolio workspace. You can ask it to draft and edit procedures, run their test scenarios, explain why a run failed, or look up an entity. It acts as you, with the same workspace permissions you have in the app.
The connector is a remote MCP server. It works with Claude, ChatGPT and any other client that supports MCP over HTTP with OAuth sign-in.
Connect
Add Rapidfolio from your client's connector directory, or add it as a custom connector with this URL:
https://app.rapidfolio.com/mcp
Your client opens a Rapidfolio sign-in page the first time it connects. Sign in with your Rapidfolio account and approve access. You need an existing Rapidfolio account. To get one, book a demo.
If you belong to more than one workspace, ask the assistant to list your workspaces and switch to the one you want. Your client remembers the choice.
What it can do
- Procedures. List, read and create procedures. Draft new versions, add or change steps, validate them and publish.
- Scenarios. Create test scenarios with mock data, run them against a version and check their results.
- Runs. Start runs, follow their progress, analyze failures and answer pending human reviews.
- Entities. Look up, create and update the customers, accounts and other records your procedures work on.
- Knowledge. Search and add the policies and reference material your procedures rely on.
- Operations and automations. Set up views over your data, receive items by email or webhook, and run a procedure automatically on matching records.
- Workspace setup. Manage connections, webhooks and API keys. Stored secrets are never shown again after they are created.
- Documentation. Search the Rapidfolio documentation and read its pages.
Example prompts
- List my Rapidfolio procedures and summarize what each one does.
- Show my recent failed Rapidfolio runs and explain the failures.
- Create a draft procedure for triaging incoming customer requests.
Permissions and data
- The connector only reaches workspaces your account belongs to. Your workspace role limits what it can change.
- Published procedure versions are read-only. Edits go into a draft until you publish it.
- Starting a run can do real work, such as sending an email or calling a connected system. The connector marks these actions so your client can ask you to confirm them first.
- To revoke access, disconnect Rapidfolio in your client.
Our privacy policy and terms of service apply to the connector.
